If you already have a Smart Society account and want to switch your MFA method, e.g. from email to push notifications on your mobile device, or from push notifications back to email, then please follow the steps below.
Go to the Smart Society Account portal: https://account.smart-society.io and login.
- Select Personal Information
- In the Security section, select Change MFA
- Select Email in case you want to switch to receiving verification codes via email, or Alternative MFA method for other methods and click Proceed
- If you have selected Email, then you are ready. Upon each next login you will receive a verification code in your email inbox.If you have selected Alternative MFA method, after clicking Proceed, upon next login, you will see the popup below.
